“Lilac Doodle Dog” captures a playful moment between nature and my Cavapoo. In the spring the lilac garden blooms in Holcomb Gardens at Butler University. It’s a beautiful place to take a walk with your best friend.

The whole setting is sunny and relaxed, with loose brushstrokes and playful lines that make it feel like a dreamy day outside. The warm browns, reddish tones, and darker purples of the dog’s furl blend to give it a textured, touchable appearance. Vibrant lilac flowers are blooming, their soft colors pop against the greenery in the background.
